A little history on Milky Malm LLC:
“I come from a family of scientists. My mother and sister are both pharmacists so naturally I gravitated toward the field.
I completed my Doctorate of Pharmacy from South University School of Pharmacy in 2014 (undergraduate studies at the University of South Carolina - Go Gamecocks!), and I’ve traveled the country following my husband’s military career ever since.
I have worked almost every field of pharmacy from compounding to inpatient to retail.
Following the birth of my daughter in January 2019 I realized the huge lack of quality support for lactating parents.
I never returned from maternity leave and decided to navigate a new field of study, while learning how to start a business.
I received my license as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in December 2020 and now practice as a PharmD IBCLC specializing in medications and lactation with a key interest in serving marginalized communities.”
